Yes! Our PADI Discover Scuba Diving gives you a chance to see what it's like to scuba dive without having to commit to a certification. It is required that you can comfortably swim without assistance. You'll be accompanied by a highly trained PADI professional to provide information on scuba gear, basic skills, and underwater communication.

Yes, we do! We have certification courses from open water to advanced and beyond! Our PADI certified instructors can help you each step of the way. Give us a call if you would like to begin today. We have classes running regularly and offer both private and group setting courses.

Unfortunately, we do not offer swim lessons. You must know how to swim prior to engaging in any of our activities. 

North Shore Dive Shop provides quality dives that are well planned and catered to each customer. Due to these efforts, we need at least 48 hours to properly plan your dive tour. We use this time to chat with you about dive preferences. We cannot usually schedule same day dives. However, please feel free to give us a call and we will do our absolute best!

Yes, it is! With any of our dives all necessary dive gear is included in the cost to book. If you book a private dive with us, lunch is included as well.

North Shore Dive Shop adheres to dive industry standards. We are family friendly and would love to have everyone join us. There are age restrictions to each activity. Children younger than 10 years old will not be able to scuba dive. Our snorkel tours can accommodate children as young as 8.

Our private guided dives and snorkel tours do not have a set time limit. We take our time to ensure your comfort and safety. A typical tour ranges from 4-6 hours depending on how comfortable you are in the water.

North Shore Dive Shop offers Scuba Tours, Snorkel with Turtle experiences, and guided tours island wide. We have recommendations for the north, west, and south sides of the island! 

Nope! When you rent gear from North Shore Dive Shop, we give you a full 24hrs to enjoy it. All rental gear is asked to be returned same time next day.

Cancellation Policy

Customers will receive credit in the form of a rain-check within 48 hours of a notice of cancellation. A rain-check is issued when a customer cancels due to extenuating circumstances or when weather inhibits our taking the boat out for a dive. Weather calls are made the day of the dive. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price. All sales are final. We reserve the right to reschedule any boat charter if there is an inadequate number of guests to run operations (every boat charter requires a minimum of 4 people to proceed). A member of our team will reach out via phone call/text/email to reschedule any existing bookings if needed. If you miss the boat departure time and can not reschedule your charter there will be no refund.

Damaged Equipment
Intentional or deliberate misuse of equipment that results in damage to any rental equipment or the vessels will be charged at current fair market value.

Boat Etiquette
The reef is a living organism and home to many wonderful creatures and we wish to share the beauty with our guests for decades to come. So we kindly ask that you carefully consider what is brought aboard our vessels. We ask that non-biodegradable and/or single use items such as glass or plastic be left ashore in the best interest and safety of our beautiful wildlife.

Our team of divemasters, instructors and captains are are committed to ensuring your safety above and below the water while delivering a 5 star experience filled with Aloha to each and every guest regardless of experience level. They would appreciate your feedback whether it be with gratuities, comments and/or positive reviews on the internet. If you feel like your experience fell short of this commitment in any way please let us know immediately, as we strive to provide the absolute best diving experience on the island of Oahu.

Absolutely! No matter your requirements, a fresh local meal is available to you! There are many different choices, and we take the time to find what you like before dive day.

We do not offer transportation at this time. For any of our snorkel with turtle or dive tours we do our best to help coordinate transportation for our guests by suggesting public transport routes or doing our best to provide an experience close to your accommodations.
